I am always on the lookout for fun books for my girls to read. During the last couple years while we have been doing school online I have had to look for books myself because most of our resources from school have been digital and we have struggled reading on devices. Here are some of the ones that we have really loved. I have grouped them by about the age my kids were when they read them.
You will notice that there are A LOT of what might be considered girl books. That's because we have LOTS of girls at our house, 7 to be exact, 8 if you count Mom. Some of the books have all been read by my older girls but many are new to us. I am trying to keep track of which books my now 8 year old likes so I don't have to think so hard for the next two.
This is by no means a complete list, just all the ones I could remember at the moment. I will try to update it as we progress in our reading adventure.
Feel free to comment and add some of your favorites.
Picture books
This is far from a complete list of picture books, just my most recent finds.
The world of Claris by Megan Hess
These two are the only ones my library currently has, but I need to get my hands on the others as well.
These are written and illustrated by Apryl Stott. I really love the wash and ink style of her illustrations. Searching for her after loving her illustrations from some church magazines is how I came across her in the first place. The stories are really cute as well.
